GETTING START
Upon approval of the project estimate, we will provide our customer agreement form and formal proposal of the project (which will outline your project details and milestones). The initialed and signed customer agreement and formal proposal documents will need to be returned to us along with the project's down payment (which varies for each project).

To begin the design phase of any project, we will need a completed design brief questionnaire (a document that simply requests a business overview and several design aesthetics). Please note, this document will be provided along with the formal proposal and customer agreement.

In addition to the completed questionnaire, we will need the following:
  • Company Logo source file
  • Imagery to integrate into the design
  • Page content (organized in word documents and folders)
DESIGN PROCESS

Before we initiate the design phase of a website project, we require our clients to complete our design brief questionnaire. Within this questionnaire, you will be given the opportunity to provide specific details regarding your company (i.e. your target audience, company message, etc.) and thorough design notes (i.e. what colors to use/avoid, example websites, etc.) to ensure you are happy with the design concept.

If you are concerned you may not be able to emulate your ideas through this questionnaire, please feel free to contact and speak to our design team directly to review your completed questionnaire.

Although our starting packages only include one design concept (to help save on project cost), we can certainly create a custom solution for you which provides several different design concepts and multiple rounds of revisions to ensure your website is everything you want!

ESTIMATE PROCESS

In a nutshell, our process begins with preparing a project estimate that reflects our visually impressive designs and budget-sensitive development to give the best results to our clients. We initially gather the necessary information by phone, email, or in person to provide several options for your custom project.

After the estimate has been reviewed, you will need to let us know if you have any questions or concerns about the estimate options. As this is just a preliminary estimate, you will be able to add features, remove features, or any other combination to create the best solution for what you are looking for.

Once the estimate is approved, we will prepare a formal proposal and customer agreement for the project. Upon receiving all these completed materials, we will also attain all project details such as design asthetics, functionality, and much more.

WEBSITE UPDATES

To make changes to an existing website (whether we created your website or not), we would need the following materials to make updates to your website:

  • A complete list of your change requests - Please ensure to be as detailed as possible. We can certainly review your requests via phone to ensure we understand the requests made.
  • Finalized content and images – please provide each of your page's content in a separate word document. If you are requesting just a few word changes, please provide the entire paragraph with the updates applied (rather than a list of updates such as add a coma in paragraph 2, line 5 after the word 'website').
  • Design and Layout Preferences – if you do not have a preference (or do not clearly specify your preference), we will use our professional recommendation and accommodate the updates and/or new content in the best way we see fit.
  • Payment - Because of the custom nature of update requests, we require full payment before any changes are made.
  • FTP Access to your website - NOTE: If you are a current client of EB Net, we will generally not need this.
